If you place an order online or purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processor, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. These details are passed from you via our systems securely via SSL secure sockets layer encryption and/or tokenisation where numbers are replaced with alternative information to protect the actual credit card numbers.

Who has access to your information – Third Parties?

We work with Service providers - such as credit card processors, call centre providers, consultants, gardening software providers, digital marketing agencies (utilising Google and Facebook) and catalogue distribution companies, in order to support Greenregis Ltd websites and business operations. We contractually require these recipients to only use personal data for the intended purpose of the disclosure and that they destroy or return it when it is no longer needed.

We work with Epsilon Abacus (registered as Epsilon International UK Ltd), a company that manages the Abacus Alliance on behalf of UK retailers and charities. The participating retailers are active in the clothing, collectables, food & wine, gardening, gadgets & entertainment, health & beauty, household goods, and home interiors and travel categories. They share information on what their customers buy. Epsilon Abacus analyses this pooled information to help the retailers understand consumers’ wider buying patterns. From this information, retailers can tailor their communications, sending people suitable offers that should be of interest to them, based on what they like to buy.

We want to increase our engagement with you, giving you a more personalised shopping experience. In turn, you may see product advertisements, along with gardening content, such as hints and tips from us on some social media platforms and Google. You can find out how to opt out of targeted advertising, either by Google or Facebook, below.

We may share your data with Greenregis Limited group of gardening related companies.*

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. Your Choice – Marketing Preferences

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted.

Email Marketing by us – Newsletters and promotional offers

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email unless you are an existing customer that has given your permission or you are a new customer that gives permission. Our email communications are specific to you, and we will therefore analyse your information to tailor our messaging, such as transaction history, demographics and buying habits, along with pages you may have visited on our website. This is a marketing technique known as profiling, and makes your customer experience more personalised when shopping with us. We do ask for your phone number for order support to notify/contact you about delivery dates and times. Please note: Some of our products can only be purchased if we have this information and this is shown on our website or catalogue and is not used for marketing.

By consenting to Woolmans UK SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Woolmans UK through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers.
