FAQs

Yes, many Chrysanthemums grow back every year if cared for properly. They are considered perennials, but they do need protection in colder climates. Cut them back after flowering and mulch to help them survive winter. Some varieties may act as annuals if conditions are not ideal.

Chrysanthemum Margaret flowers typically grow to about 60-90cm (24-36in) tall. Their compact size makes them perfect for borders, pots, or adding colour to garden beds. Regular pruning and deadheading can help maintain a smaller and bushier shape.

Margaret Chrysanthemums can survive UK winters if protected. They aren’t fully hardy, so mulch the base, move potted plants to a sheltered spot, or cover with fleece. In colder areas, overwinter cuttings indoors for replanting next spring.
