The ROOT!T Heat Mat Thermostat helps maintain the optimum rooting temperature for faster seedling and cutting growth. It does so by allowing you greater control over your growing environment, by monitoring the temperature and switching your heat mat on and off as required, within a pre-defined temperature range.
An easy to read digital display ensures that users are able to monitor temperatures and take action where required.

For the best results, heat mats for plants should be used with a reliable thermostat, like the ROOT!T Heat Mat Thermostat. This allows you to precisely regulate the mat’s temperature and keep it within the recommended range for your plants, ensuring good germination rates and healthy growth.
Generally, a ROOT!T Heat Mat should stay between 18-22°C (64-71°F) – warm, but not hot – ideal for encouraging seed germination and root development. However, check the specific requirements of the seeds you're growing, as some plants prefer slightly cooler or warmer conditions. Use a thermostat with your heat mat to monitor and adjust the temperature for the best results.
To keep the soil temperature within a specific range, you should place the thermostat probe in the soil or compost. Alternatively, if you want to control the temperature of the heat mat itself, place the probe on the heat mat. The mat will be warmer than the soil above, so it’s important to take this into account when setting the temperature range on your thermostat.
