These lovely garden ready plant plugs arrived in pristine condition and are now romping away in my borders. I'm looking forward to a colourful display of geums.

FAQs

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique.

Geum Scarlet Tempest grows to a height of around 75cm (30”). It can be tall or bushy if pinched off, with bright red flowers that stand above the foliage. Its moderate height and bushy shape make it suitable for borders, containers, or as part of a flower bed.

Plant Geums in a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. They prefer soil that is slightly acidic to neutral. Make sure they have good air circulation and space to grow. Planting them in a location with some shelter from strong winds can help protect the flowers once they bloom.

Yes, Geum plants can spread, though not aggressively. They form clumps that may gradually expand over time. To manage their spread, divide the plants every few years to keep them contained. This keeps them healthy and stops them from spreading too far.
