Nasturtium Salmon Baby is soft and enchanting, with compact, bushy growth and petite salmon-pink flowers that contrast beautifully with its lush dark green foliage. Reaching around 30cm in height, this variety is perfect for smaller spaces, containers and borders.
The semi-double blooms have a mild, peppery fragrance that’s most noticeable when disturbed, and they’re loved by pollinators like bees and butterflies. Beautiful, good for the local ecosystem, and even edible – their petals can be used in salads or as a colourful garnish. This quick-to-grow variety thrives in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. For cut flowers, harvest in the morning, trim the stems, and place in clean water to keep them fresh for longer.

Although Nasturtium Salmon Baby is frost-hardy, it is an annual, so it won’t regrow every year – it will grow, bloom, set seed and die over the course of 12 months. However, like most Nasturtiums, it will self-seed after its flowering period, so you may be surprised with new plants next spring!
Start Nasturtium Salmon Baby seeds in well-drained soil, planting them about 2.5cm (1”) deep. Place the seeds in a sunny spot and water consistently. Once seedlings grow, thin them out to give each plant room to grow. Regular watering and sunlight are key for healthy plants.
