Strawberry Summer Breeze Rose F1 makes a striking feature of hanging baskets and patio containers, with rich rose-pink, semi-double flowers that bring an ornamental flourish to an edible crop. As the season progresses, red strawberries develop among the foliage, giving you something delicious to harvest as well as a colourful display to enjoy.
Grow in a sunny, sheltered spot using fertile, free-draining compost. Keep the compost consistently moist, particularly in warm weather, and feed while the plants are flowering and fruiting. Harvest berries when ripe, trim unwanted runners to keep growth tidy and protect young plants from frost until established.
Choose from 10- or 20-young-plant pack options to suit your baskets, pots or patio planting plans.
Our young plants are supplied as strong, well-rooted plants grown in individual large plug cells, measuring approximately 6–12cm from the plug base to the plant tip. Where appropriate, stems may have been pinched to encourage fuller, bushier growth. On arrival, pot them into 6–7cm pots to grow on or, if conditions allow, plant directly into baskets and containers. Keep them in a warm, bright, frost-free position until established, then gradually harden them off before planting outdoors. A full growing guide is included.
