Product Details

Dahlias are all about flamboyant colour and this collection has it in spades! Luscious and exuberant with bright pops of cherry pink for a summer long show.

Dahlias are the stars of the summer garden. They provide both style and substance to border and container displays. Great value, they make excellent cut flowers – and the more you cut the more flowers they produce!

Collection includes 1 each of:

  • Karma Prospero - bred for cutting with plenty of soft pink blooms
  • Hemisphere - strong stems bearing many blooms in shades of white, pink and purple
  • Wizard of Oz - a plethora of pink ball-shaped blooms which last for ages

Shipping

Postage and packaging (P&P) is applied on a per order basis and is automatically calculated based on the type of product you are ordering.

A charge of £4.95 P&P is applied for plant and hardware orders and a charge of £2.45 is applied for seed orders.

Items marked with a lorry symbol, are usually heavy or bulky and require specialist carriers, these have a single £12.95 carriage charge per order no matter how many items are ordered in this category. UK mainland only.

Pink Dahlias are tender perennials. In warm climates, they can return each year, but in colder areas, they need protection. Lift the tubers after the first frost and store them in a cool, dry place over winter to replant them next spring.

Cherry Pink Dahlias typically grow between 90 and 120 cm (3-4ft) tall. As a taller variety, it works well in garden borders. If you would prefer yours to not grow so tall, pinch out new growth to encourage it into a smaller, bushier shape.

You can leave Cherry Pink Dahlias in the ground over winter in milder areas, but it’s risky in colder regions. To help them survive, cut back the foliage, cover with a thick mulch layer, and check for frost protection. To be absolutely sure, you can simply lift the tubers and store them indoors over winter.
