Crocus chrysanthus Cream Beauty Flower Bulbs produce elegant creamy-yellow flowers that bring a softer note to the garden towards the end of winter and into early spring. Their warm colouring looks particularly effective planted generously in groups and combines beautifully with blue and purple crocuses.
Supplied as a pack of 25 bulbs, plants reach around 10cm (4in) and flower from February to March. They are ideal for borders, rockeries, containers and naturalising through lawns, with the early flowers providing useful forage for pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
