Allium atropurpureum
- Rich purple and dark-crimson flower heads create jewel-toned summer colour
- Strong 60-90cm stems are excellent for borders, cutting and drying
- Size 10/12 bulbs provide June and July flowers attractive to pollinators

Allium atropurpureum produces rich purple and dark-crimson flower heads on strong, sturdy stems, creating a jewel-toned focal point in summer borders. The deep colouring stands out beautifully against green foliage and combines especially well with paler alliums and perennials.
Supplied as a pack of 10 bulbs, plants reach approximately 60-90cm (2-3ft) and flower from June to July. The blooms are suitable for cutting and drying and are attractive to pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 10/12
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 10/12 bulb measures approximately 10-12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
