Auto Fill Float Valve Kit x 2 (Quadgrow spares)

Johnsons Auto Fill Float Valve Kit x 2 (Quadgrow spares) can be added to a Quadgrow system or reservoir tray holding plant pots to automatically maintain a consistent water level without requiring a power supply.

This practical float valve is ideal for automatically maintaining water levels within a container. It is designed for use with the SmartReservoir tanks featured in the Quadgrow Pots Watering System, 4 Pots and Quadgrow Pots Watering System, 8 Pots, while also being suitable for deep trays, propagation systems and pet water troughs.

The valve automatically tops up water as levels decrease, helping to maintain reliable growing conditions throughout the season. Suitable for containers with a minimum depth of 10cm, it can maintain water levels from 25mm upwards depending on where it is installed.

Each kit includes two float valves, 1.8 metres of tubing for each valve and a tap connector fitting fitted with a filter and barbed pipe reducer.

How to use:

• Fit the float valve through a 21mm hole in the reservoir or container.
• Position the centre of the hole approximately 15mm above the desired water level.
• Attach the supplied tubing to the float valve connection.
• Connect the tubing to a suitable hose connector tap fitted to a water butt or storage tank.
• Position the water source at least 20cm higher than the container being filled to maintain sufficient gravity-fed pressure.

Quadgrow SmartReservoir tanks already include the required 21mm installation hole. If fitting to another container, it should be at least 10cm deep. The water source must be fitted with a suitable click-fit hose connector tap.

Please note that this kit is designed for gravity-fed systems only and is not suitable for mains-pressure or pumped water supplies.
