Box moth caterpillar is increasingly common in gardens and can completely defoliate box plants. The Box-tree Moth is also considered to be a serious pest in parts of Europe on various species of box.
A pheromone trap is a type of trap that uses the pheromone scent of the female to lure and catch the male. Pheromone traps are used both to count insect populations by sampling, and to trap pests to prevent reproduction.
