Camassia leichtlinii subsp. sukdorfii Alba Bulbs produce elegant spikes of star-like white flowers on tall upright stems, bringing height, movement and brightness to late-spring planting. They are particularly effective naturalised through grass or woodland-style areas and make magnificent, long-lasting cut flowers.
Supplied as a pack of 10 bulbs, plants reach around 100cm (40in) and flower from May to June. Camassias are easy to grow and perform well in sun or partial shade, including heavier soils that retain some moisture. Plant from September to November in moist but well-drained soil.
Bulb size: 14/16
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 14/16 bulb measures approximately 14-16cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
