Crocus chrysanthus Blue Pearl Flower Bulbs produce delicate soft-blue flowers that bring a welcome splash of colour to the garden towards the end of winter and into early spring. Their compact habit makes them particularly effective planted in groups where the flowers can form colourful drifts.
Supplied as a pack of 25 bulbs, plants reach around 10cm (4in) and flower from February to March. They are ideal for borders, rockeries, containers and naturalising through lawns, while their early flowers provide a useful food source for emerging pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
