Delphinium Centurion thrives in full sun and rich, well-drained soil. Water it regularly, but avoid waterlogging, and protect young plants from slugs. Position them in sunny borders or cottage-style gardens for a timeless look. For a particularly harmonious display, pair with white flower seeds, pink flowering bulbs,perennials like lavender, or Foxglove plants; their complementary colours are enough to light up any garden space.
To use Delphiniums as cut flowers, snip their stems early in the morning, remove their lower leaves, and place them in fresh water to enjoy their beauty indoors.

Yes, the majority of Delphiniums are perennial, and Delphinium Centurion Sky Blue is no exception. This means that even when its flowers die back in the off-season, its roots survive, and the plant will bloom again next year. It will keep coming back for as long as conditions allow.
Delphiniums are a summer-flowering plant, blooming in June and July. If deadheaded after the first flush, they will bloom again in August and September.
These plants stand tall and statuesque, like a Roman monument to a centurion–hence the name. Their flower spikes reach around 1.2-1.5m in height (3.5-5ft).
