Forsythia Intermedia Weekend Flower Plants are a striking deciduous shrub that brings a welcome burst of golden colour at the very start of spring. Tall, upright branches become covered with bright yellow, four-petalled flowers from March to April, creating an eye-catching display while providing an important early source of nectar for bees and other pollinators.
As flowering finishes, fresh green foliage emerges to provide seasonal interest throughout summer before turning rich golden shades in autumn. Reaching an eventual height and spread of around 250cm, this hardy shrub is ideal for borders, cottage gardens and large patio containers, where it creates structure and vibrant colour year after year. Plant in full sun for the best flowering performance.
