Product Details

This garden cloche is glazed with 4mm toughened safety glass, providing durability and protection for your plants. The two end panels can be removed in warmer weather or to create a continuous row of cloches. Gentle ventilation is ensured by the slight gap between the side panels and the roof panels, promoting airflow without exposing plants to harsh conditions.

For watering or harvesting, the two top glass panels can be easily lifted out. During cold spells, the gap beneath each end panel can be blocked with earth to retain warmth. Each pane is fully removable, making cleaning simple and efficient. This garden cloche is finished in a standard plain aluminium design, offering both functionality and a timeless appearance.

If you're growing Dahlia plants, bee and butterfly attracting plants, spring planting/summer flowering bulbs, or perennials for cutting, this cloche will help protect your garden from harsh weather while promoting healthy growth. Made in Britain by a family-owned company since the 1950s, it combines quality craftsmanship with durability.

Length: 2' 8" (0.79m) Width: 1' 9" (0.53m) Height: 1' 4"(0.41m)

All our mini Growhouses, Cold Frames, and Cloches are made from durable, maintenance-free, architectural aluminium. The aluminium structure is guaranteed for 25 years. FAQs

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique.

To build a cloche, simply set up the frame as instructed and cover it with the protective sheet. Position the cloche over plants to protect them from cold or pests, making sure it is ventilated. Follow the instructions that come with the product for best results.

Yes, cloches can protect plants from slugs. However, slugs can still enter if the edges of the cloche are not sealed tightly. Check regularly for gaps to make sure the plants are properly protected, and take additional measures like setting up copper tape or sprinkling nematodes in your garden to prevent slugs before they become a problem.

Lift the sheet and water the soil directly, not the plants. Be even more careful than usual not to overwater, as the cloche can trap moisture and increase humidity, causing rot quickly if the plants are overwatered.
