Iris Reticulata Frozen Planet Flower Bulbs bring a fresh burst of colour to the garden at the end of winter, producing beautifully detailed flowers in crisp ice-white tones accented with soft pale-blue shading. Their delicate colouring stands out against the winter landscape as the gardening season begins.
Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs, this dwarf iris reaches around 20cm (8in) and is perfectly suited to containers, patio displays and the front of borders. Flowering from February to March, the compact blooms also provide useful early nectar for pollinators.
Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun. These compact hardy perennials are easy to grow and work particularly well in groups through borders or containers.
Bulb size: 6/7
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 6/7 bulb measures approximately 6-7cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
