Muscari armeniacum Flower Bulbs are a favourite grape hyacinth, producing deep blue flowers that look wonderful in beds, borders and pots in early spring. Straightforward to grow, they continue to add interest after flowering as attractive seed pods develop.
Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs, plants reach around 15cm (6in) and flower from March to April. The nectar-rich flowers are a magnet for bees. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 8/9
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. An 8/9 bulb measures approximately 8-9cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
