Muscari Valerie Finnis Flower Bulbs produce compact spikes of delicate pale lavender-blue, bell-shaped flowers above attractive silvery-green foliage. Their softer colouring gives this grape hyacinth a distinctive look and makes it particularly effective planted in groups through borders, rockeries and containers.
Supplied as a pack of 20 bulbs, plants reach around 20cm (8in) and flower from March to April. They are also ideal for naturalising through grass and provide useful early-season flowers for visiting pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 8/9
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. An 8/9 bulb measures approximately 8-9cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
