Product DescriptionOverview and what to expect

Rose Alba Maxima (Shrub) Plants bring timeless beauty and romance to the garden with elegant double white blooms that open from softly bluish-tinted buds. Flowering in early summer, this classic rose creates a refined display that sits beautifully within traditional borders, cottage gardens and feature planting schemes.

As the flowering season progresses, ornamental rose hips develop, extending the display and adding extra seasonal interest. The attractive bushy habit, delightful fragrance and dependable nature make this a rewarding choice for gardeners who enjoy creating colourful and characterful outdoor spaces.

Shrub Rose: Shrub Roses are usually the largest of the bush roses. They are great for the back of borders or dividing spaces in the garden with a mounding, spreading shape. Their flowers may be single, semi-double or double and are produced all along the stems, creating a spectacular display over a long period. Many varieties are also highly fragrant.

These roses are supplied as 2-year-old bare root plants with 2 to 3 strong breaks.

Planting advice: Plant bare root roses outdoors from October to March. Choose a sunny or partially shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil. Soak the roots before planting, position the graft union just below soil level and water thoroughly after planting. Apply a mulch to help conserve moisture and encourage strong establishment.
