Successional Bulb Collection

Successional Bulb Collection creates an evolving display of colour from the delicate whites and mixed shades of late winter through cheerful yellow and into rich spring purples. Bringing together 145 bulbs across five varieties, it provides an easy way to design beds, borders and containers with changing colour, height and form from January through to June.

Plant during autumn in well-drained soil, choosing full sun or partial shade according to each variety. Use generous groups and flowing drifts to make the colours stand out, combining lower-growing bulbs towards the front of displays with taller tulips and alliums to introduce height and structure later in the season.

Collection contains 145 bulbs:

• Allium Purple Sensation Bulbs – 15 bulbs
  Spectacular rounded violet-purple flower heads stand proudly above borders from May to June, creating architectural height while providing eye-catching flowers for cutting.
• Crocus Species Mixed Bulbs – 50 mixed bulbs
  An abundance of compact flowers in contrasting colours brightens the garden from late winter, looking particularly effective in generous groups through borders, rockeries, containers and naturalised areas.
• Narcissi Tete a Tete Flower Bulbs – 15 bulbs
  Cheerful golden-yellow flowers on compact stems add a bright splash of early spring colour to patio pots, window boxes, beds and border edges.
• Snowdrop Flower Bulbs – 50 bulbs
  Graceful nodding white flowers marked with fresh green bring subtle colour to the garden from January and create beautiful natural-looking displays beneath deciduous trees and shrubs.
• Tulip Purple Dream Flower Bulbs – 15 bulbs
  Elegant deep-purple lily-flowered blooms with pointed petals and a contrasting white base provide a sophisticated highlight from April to May and are superb for cutting.
