Product DescriptionOverview and what to expect

Thyme Foxley Herb Potted Plants combine ornamental beauty with exceptional culinary value. This hardy perennial forms neat, spreading mounds of glossy evergreen foliage attractively splashed with creamy white variegation, creating year-round colour in borders, containers and herb gardens. The aromatic leaves have an excellent, slightly spiced flavour, making them ideal for meat dishes, garnishes and fresh salads, where their soft texture can be enjoyed raw.

From June to August, clusters of dark pink flowers provide a striking contrast against the variegated foliage while attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. As the seasons change, the leaves develop attractive pink-red tones through winter, extending the plant's ornamental appeal well beyond the flowering period.

Plant in well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded position and water regularly until established. Once settled, this low-maintenance herb is easy to grow and can be lightly trimmed after flowering to maintain its compact habit. Harvest fresh leaves throughout the year whenever required for cooking.

Your option is supplied as 3 x 9cm Potted Plants (November), ready to establish quickly and bring lasting colour and flavour to your garden. Carefully selected and tried in our Show Garden, Johnsons varieties are chosen to deliver dependable performance and the joy of gardening season after season.
