Tulip Gavota Flower Bulbs make a bold statement with classic Triumph tulip flowers in rich terracotta red, each petal edged with contrasting golden yellow. The vivid two-tone colouring brings warmth and definition to spring borders and patio containers and combines beautifully with softer yellow and cream shades.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach approximately 40-45cm (16-18in) and flower from April to May. Their sturdy upright stems also make them suitable for cutting. Plant from October to December in well-drained soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
