Tulip Marilyn Flower Bulbs produce beautifully refined lily-shaped flowers, combining crisp white petals with vivid cherry-red streaks for a dramatic spring display. Their elegant form and contrasting colours stand out equally well in mixed borders, patio containers and cut-flower arrangements.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, this RHS Award of Garden Merit variety flowers from April to May on strong stems reaching around 55cm (22in). The blooms are lightly fragrant and particularly effective when planted in groups.
Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
