Verbascum Sugar Plum Flower Plants bring vertical elegance to the garden with dusky pink to purple flower spires emerging from well-branched rosettes of deep green foliage. These cottage garden favourites are perfect for herbaceous borders, large containers, and informal planting areas, adding both height and colour from early summer onwards.
Versatile and easy to grow, they tolerate a range of soils and thrive in well-drained positions in full sun. Their nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, making them a lively addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
Young Plants
Grown in individual large plug cells measuring up to 12cm (4.8in) in height, these plants are well-rooted and, where necessary, supplied with the central stem pinched to encourage strong, bushy growth. On arrival, simply pot them into 6 or 7cm pots, or, if you have space, plant directly into baskets and containers. Keep them somewhere warm and bright until established. A full growing guide is included to help you achieve the very best results. Plants will arrive ready for immediate potting on or planting, with heights ranging from 6–12cm from plug base to plant tip.
