Product Details

The 5 x 2 Victorian Tall Wall Greenhouse from Forest has a traditional Victorian design, and its small size makes it perfect for gardens where space is at a premium and a full-sized greenhouse is not ideal. Additionally, the back panel means you don’t need to place it against a wall to keep your plants protected.

Two heights of shelving allow you to organise your plants and provide them with the maximum amount of sunlight. A great feature of this greenhouse is the collapsible middle shelves, which fold away to make room for taller plants. The two opening vents are compatible with auto vents (not included), which help maintain the appropriate temperature and airflow.

Manufactured from watertight tongue-and-groove cladding, the timber used in this Victorian greenhouse is FSC-approved and pressure-treated, providing a 15-year guarantee against rot and fungal decay. Access to your plants is made easy through the two independently opening lids and double doors.

FAQs

To build a Victorian greenhouse, assemble the wooden frame and secure the Styrene panels in place. Then, affix the shelving and doors according to the directions. You can also paint your greenhouse if you wish to. The product will come with full self-assembly instructions from the supplier.

You can grow a wide range of plants in a greenhouse, including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and herbs, as well as tender flowering plants like geraniums and fuchsias. You can also start seeds and propagate cuttings. Anything that requires a little extra protection from the British climate can do better in a greenhouse.

Both greenhouses and growhouses provide sheltered environments for propagating seeds, growing plants, and protecting them from harsh weather. The key difference is size: greenhouses are typically larger, more permanent structures, while growhouses are compact and portable (ideal for smaller gardens).
