Allium cristophii Flower Bulbs are full of character, producing striking star-shaped flowers in shiny metallic lilac that combine into large, spiky spherical heads. Their architectural form adds drama to late-spring borders and provides an excellent contrast to early-flowering perennials.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 60cm (2ft) and flower from May to June. The long-lasting flower heads are ideal for cutting and drying and are attractive to pollinators. Plant from September to November in free-draining soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 10/12
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 10/12 bulb measures approximately 10-12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
