Crocus Species Mixed Flower Bulbs provide a lively mixture of compact species crocuses in contrasting colours, bringing welcome brightness to the garden from late winter into early spring. Their small stature belies their toughness, and they are particularly effective planted in generous groups.
Supplied as a pack of 50 corms, plants reach around 15cm (6in) and typically flower from February to March. They are excellent for naturalising through lawns and grassy areas as well as borders, rockeries and containers, while their early flowers provide valuable forage for pollinators. Plant from September to November in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
