Narcissus Rip Van Winkle Flower Bulbs are an unusual heirloom daffodil with fully double golden-yellow flowers packed with finely cut, pointed petals. First introduced in the nineteenth century, its distinctive shaggy blooms still bring plenty of character to modern spring displays.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 15cm (6in) and flower from March to April. Their dwarf habit makes them ideal for containers, rockeries and the front of borders, and they can also be naturalised in suitable grassy areas. Plant from September to December in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Bulb size: 12/14
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12/14 bulb measures approximately 12-14cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
