Rootgrow Tomato Starter helps set the stage for healthier, more productive tomato plants by enriching your growing space with essential biology. These compact, 100% peat free biscuits are formed from compressed coir and expand with water, releasing nutrients and beneficial microorganisms exactly where your plants need them.
Each biscuit is packed with five active ingredients that work together to encourage vibrant, thriving growth. Mycorrhizal fungi form a natural partnership with plant roots, creating an extended root system that supports establishment, enhances flowering and fruiting, and helps plants cope with dry conditions. Beneficial soil bacteria provide a natural source of nitrogen, while slow release nutrients feed plants steadily for up to four months.
Seaweed meal promotes strong root development, while bio-additives including humates and biochar help maintain a healthy soil ecosystem by feeding and supporting beneficial microbes. The result is a balanced, nutrient-rich environment that helps your tomato plants flourish.
How to use: Simply place a biscuit into your pot, basket, soil or grow bag, position your plant on top, backfill and water well. Use one biscuit per young plant.
