Product Details

Rootrainers provide the perfect start for all seeds, seedlings, plugs & cuttings, especially those that require deep root runs or are sensitive to root disturbance. Rootrainers encourage vigorous & strong root formation; roots grow straight, avoiding root balls and pot bound plants. The reusable, modular 32 cell planting system with holding tray and propagating lid allows plants to be spaced without repotting, with a hinged opening system allowing inspection of roots and removal of plants when planting out.

Rapid Rootrainers are 8cm (3in) deep and suitable for bedding plants, salad and herbs.
Deep Rootrainers are 12cm (5in) deep and suitable for deep rooted plants like sweet peas and runner beans.

Shipping

Postage and packaging (P&P) is applied on a per order basis and is automatically calculated based on the type of product you are ordering.

A charge of £4.95 P&P is applied for plant and hardware orders and a charge of £2.45 is applied for seed orders.

Items marked with a lorry symbol, are usually heavy or bulky and require specialist carriers, these have a single £12.95 carriage charge per order no matter how many items are ordered in this category. UK mainland only.
