Tulip Slawa Flower Bulbs produce sumptuous crimson blooms edged in warm honeyed apricot, creating a distinctive two-tone effect as the flowers mature. Their rich colouring makes a striking foil for dark-leaved perennials and adds depth to spring planting schemes.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 40cm (16in) and flower from April to May. They are ideal for borders and patio containers and also make attractive cut flowers. Plant from October to December in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 12+
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 12+ bulb measures at least 12cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
