Tulip sylvestris Flower Bulbs are one of the best tulips for naturalising, producing rich yellow flowers with a lovely fragrance. Once established in suitable conditions, this wild tulip can spread to create increasingly generous spring displays year after year.
Supplied as a pack of 15 bulbs, plants reach around 30cm (12in) and flower from April to May. Their relaxed character suits naturalised planting, borders and containers, while the scented flowers are attractive to pollinators. Plant from October to December in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
Bulb size: 6/7
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 6/7 bulb measures approximately 6-7cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
